velour is
a production-focused music recording project. Liberated by the loss of nearly
everything in flooding in 2011, velour is itself liquid. There are rooms everywhere that are
suitable for tracking, including this odd basement in New Jersey if that
works best. The idea is to support the production
of records without regard to price-point and without unreasonable time
constraints. The process is happily
and unavoidably collaborative.
