Note as to rates:
Because of the nature of Velour projects, rates are set on a project basis.
Charging on a straight time basis is restrictive and inconsistent with the objectives of Velour. The project price, broadly speaking, is competitive with rushed demo-quality production at a good commercial studio.

Note as to environment and availability:
Velour is, again, a music recording studio in a house in exurban New Jersey. The studio is about 50 minutes from Philadelphia and 90 minutes from New York City. Velour is not open to the public, and has none of the polish of a public facility. Availability is limited, it is difficult to lock-out the studio for more than few consecutive days, and much of the work is done off-hours. This is, of course, what makes Velour possible.
